Pay per click Advertising
Choose your Keywords
The basis of Pay-Per-Clicks is to choose keywords- the words that someone
searches for to arrive at your ad. You try to guess, but there's an easier way
to determine what keywords are included in actual searches. Get this free
software to help you choose the keywords to deliver you the people you are
looking for. Go to for download.

Google.com
The pay per clicks are ads placed on search engines like Google, FindWhat, Overture, GoClick and many others. You place an ad there to link to your SFI Gateway (or your personal website, if you have one). When someone clicks on the ad they are transferred to your gateway and you are charged 5 cents, 10 cents, or whatever you have bid for that keyword that they searched on to arrive at your ad. If you use the “FREE” Gateway it offers the Free Internet Income Course ($295 Value) if they signup for free.
I started with Google. It is quickest to get setup with and begin advertising. You can get going in an hour. I suggest you go there, read about the program and do some planning about keywords and costs before you actually go live with an ad. Want to see what it's going to look like? Go to google.com and search for: sfi You should see an ad of mine showing DollarWare.US Click on that to go to my site. The boxes on the right side and the one across the top about SFI show stock quotes are ads and each time they are clicked on cost the advertiser whatever he has bid on the ad. The more he is willing to pay, the higher up the page he gets.
How did Santa Fe Institute beat out Six Figure Income?
I wondered why Santa Fe Institute got top spot on the Free side of the page. Later I discovered how to find out how many other sites link to this one. Just type this into the Google search box link:www.santafe.edu and the search will return all other sites in Google's database which link to that site. In this case there was and outrageous 4,920 other sites linking back to Santa Fe Institute. When you go to the site and if you have the Google ToolBar on you Browser (which you should, by the way as well as Alexa's) you also discover that Santa Fe is #103,418 most trafficked site by Alexa. Google give the page a Page Rank of 8 out of 10.

You can go in and read a bit to see what's going on. Use Google to search for SFI and see some ads being run. Think of other words people might use, like work at home, or home based business. Sometimes misspelled words still work --like search for affiliate and affiliate. Misspelled words often cost less per click!
You can start the ad and pause it any time, make changes, restart it, etc.
The higher you bid the faster your results. Lots of lower priced, less popular words, will give more for more for your money… it just takes a little longer. It is some guess work. It's a game. It's fun. Just watch your money. You can see a report at any time to see what you have spent.
Give it a read thru and then get back to me with questions. It will get you affiliates. FindWhat gave me great results as well, but it takes longer to get setup and to get your ad approved. Go ahead and sign up there after you get your Google going. By the time you are approved by FindWhat you will probably be ready.
Google makes you use the word Affiliate in your ad to denote that you are an affiliate rather than a principal. Make sure to include it or they will shut down your ad until you edit it. They will let you know if they shut it down. So you just edit the ad and they will automatically review it and approve it. No big deal, it just seems to frustrate those who are new to Google and don’t know about this.
When setting up your keyword phrases, try them 3 ways and see if Google projects any difference in the number of hits they expect you to receive. Use the phrase as-is, use it enclosed with quotation marks and use it enclosed with square brackets. For instance, home business, “home business” and [home business]. It makes a difference sometimes.
Set up a different Campaign for related words so you can better judge the results. Set a Campaign for one keyword if you really want to see how effective it is. Every ad should have a keycode. When you type in the URL for your Gateway add a period and 3 digits. This will be the number that SFI reports to you on any new prospect that you receive. For instance http://quickinfo247.com/7396778.111/FREE. The keycode is 111. That way you know which ad produced the prospect. You will soon discover which ads work and which don’t or which keywords work and which don’t.
So give Google a read. Send me your questions. You can get it going in a weekend easy and in an evening, if you hustle. Let me know what your most successful ad turns out to be.

Ezine Advertising
Ezine advertising is used by many with good success. But there are many choices in which to place your ad. A few ezines offer a free ad (generally once a week) to Subscribers. Do a search on Google.com for ezines + "free ad" and you will probably find a nice source of free ads. The negative side is that free ads don't get the same exposure in the Ezine as free ads. Paid ads get shown more prominently, in the upper part of the ezine, while free ads are lumped together at the bottom. But, hey, you can't beat the price. Free!
